Description

LOVE by OK Go is a bold exploration of human emotion through synchronized robotics and live performance, crafted as a one-shot music video for the band’s new track Love. Created in collaboration with 1stAveMachine, Universal Robots, and SpecialGuestX, the piece transforms a historic train station in Budapest into a kinetic stage for poetry in motion. The video features 25 industrial robotic arms executing a complex mirrored choreography in perfect unison. Through precise movements, rotating mirrors, and kaleidoscopic reflections, the performance builds an emotional crescendo that mirrors the song's themes of connection and vulnerability. As part of the SpecialGuestX team, I contributed to the creation of the real-time animations that drive the visual choreography of the piece. Collaborating closely with the robotics engineers, I helped translate timing data and physical movement into an expressive visual system—syncing mirror rotations, light, and emotion to the rhythm of the music.
